1. You know what's unfortunate? That the makers of the Battlestar DVDs used the most awkward promo photos they could find to make the screen thingies for the dvds. I literally can't look at them. I choose which ep I want to watch between my fingers. How am I supposed to take this seriously? For serious. (Also, I would bet money Jamie is on a box for that photo.)

2. Canada's Next Top Model.

a. Acting lessons and no mention of the fact that Tricia's an actress now? For shame! I was hoping for a guest appearance by James Callis. I was. Don't judge me.

b. So, Tricia's platinum Six hair. Is it a wig? Judging by the coats, Top Model got filmed in late autumn, early winter. I can't decide.

c. I love Sisi. She must win. I want Andrea ooout. I like Alanna's pics and her look, but she is so. vapid in real life. Brandi? Gotta go. I call Sisi for the win, because it will be her and Brandi at the end, and Brandi is a bitch, and we Canadians care about that. Ylena was beautiful but old. She should act.

d. When Tricia got to 10, I was freaked because OMG SIX.



e. I would like just one of the girls to say in an interview. "Tricia was an incredible model and I love her work on Battlestar Galactica." I've started to wonder if it's because CityTV doesn't air BSG that they've made no mention of it. Hmm.

4. I have found the blog of one of the people I work with. He is a BSG fan. I am freaked.

5. Sam ficathon is still going well. Shh! Don't jinx it.

I am an obsessive watcher of things Top Model! So, yes, cuts are appreciated.

I would say all things Top Model but there are various countries whose Top Models I have no access to! WOE.

Not only is Bamber definitely on a box (and I'm damn sure he was on a box in the mexican standoff in 2.06, given that Tahmoh Penikett is a good 7 inches taller than him). Oh, and I think they made Sackhoff wear a padded bra for that publicity shot. She definitely seems to have more boob in this pic than in the show.

Re: the guy you wortk with, is it someone you like enough to say Hi on his LJ and thus give him access to yours? It's just that the BSG fandom isn't very big, so if you found him, he'[ll probably find you. Might want to make sure you don't have identifying info on your LJ which would lead him to realize the same thing. Going back and flocking overly personal posts is a pain, but if you don't want to be identified by him.....

I thought I recalled reading an article that said they bleached her hair in S1 and then she wore a wig for S2, since her hair was getting fried. But I'm not 100% sure of the timing.

ICAM. Katee said in that early June radio interview (too lazy to look up the link right now) that she (and Mary) are 5'6" and Jamie (and Grace) are 5'10", Lee looks a lot more than 4 inches taller there. I was surprised to hear he was even the 4 inches taller.

Okay late June interview, I decided to be un-lazy and found it. http://galacticastation.com/Audio/audio.html It's about 4:45 in when the interviewer brings up her height and makes fun of her. She also says that Tricia is 6' and James is 5'7".
