1. They've found a 1000 year old book of psalms in a bog in Ireland. Cool! Er, I am secretly a medieval history geek, so I think the discovery is really, really neat.

This however: Painstakingly copied in Latin script, it was found open to a page describing Psalm 83, in which God hears complaints of other nations' attempts to wipe out the name of Israel

Ok, holy shit. I hope that part is a hoax.

2. High School Musical.
a. Can we just talk about "Can't take my eyes off you" for a second? Who's bright idea was it to have Ryan and Sharpay sing that to each other? Because oy. It's not a song I would sing to my brother, if I had one. Good lord, Disney. I expect better.

b. Also, Gabriella and Troy's reprise of "What I've been looking for" man, I wish it were longer.It's so pretty! And the two parts are lovely.

c. I may have listened to the soundtrack both to and from work, as well as at work for a while. Ahem. I will move on shortly.

d. I must have icons.

3. Watched Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights last night.
a.The lead girl reminded me of Katee Sackhoff a lot. I don't think I am crazy. Feel free to disagree.

b. PATRICK SWAYZE. Dude. Just, dude.

4. I really like the inscription on the Order of Canada: Desiderantes meliorem patriam, which translates to They desire a better country. Some of this year's winners are listed here.

5. I wish I had some wine.

6. There is some really good fic that is hidden here and there around right now.

THANK YOU. Yes, I saw this scene, and I thought it really "off". And slightly creepy. And I'm not usually overly judgemental abuot this sort of thing, but...dude.
