WE'RE GETTING KITTENS.

The roomie and I signed up as volunteers with the Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue as foster moms and they have two kittens for us TONIGHT.

I AM FULL OF GLEEE. GLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. Kittenskittenskittenskittens! KITTENS!

I went and looked at the site. The kittens look so cute, but I fear if I fostered any my cat would eat them. He already trided to eat my mom's dog, who's bigger than he is, so I tremble to imagine what he'd do to a bite-sized kitty.

Have fun. I'm on my third shower curtain because kitten has decided she HAS to climb it to find out what I am doing on the other side rather than just going around it..... and those little plastic claw covers that they claim will save your furniture? Not. Helping. I think my 10 year old cat is ready to move out in disgust. However, kittens are quite good at making you laugh your ass off for doing the most inane things. Good for you doing the foster route though - its tough giving them back, but foster homes are so valuable for the socialization and normalcy that so many strays and abandoned/orphaned pets don't get in the shelter.
