For Hallowe'en this year I was 'Swine flu.' It was a lot funnier before people started dying.

listen, it was funny when I thought of it in September.

I wore black pants and boots with a black t-shirt with a pink t-shirt underneath. Pig mask and tail (that's the curly thing made from pipe cleaners on the left), plus my hair in pig tails. The giant syringe, made from a sparkling water bottle, a popcorn box and tinfoil, was used to 'infect' people. I also had a bowl of pig-shapped gummy candies. It was a conceptual costume.

Now I'm sitting here listening to someone make monkey sounds (god, I hope that's a person and not an accessory to someone's pirate costume) and many, many fireworks and firecrackers be set off. Oy.

I am giggling inappropriately at this. That costume is awesome and very, very clever.

I will admit to a panic attack sometime around Tuesday where I thought "oh no, is this too tasteless?" but a co-worker reminded me that my office is pretty lax, so. Glad it amused and didn't offend too much! ;)

Really cool costume, sufficiently scary and yet so fun. :)

Yay! No one openly disapproved, which is a good thing I think.
