From the desk of . . .

1. I am currently at work. It is Sunday afternoon, for those on the other side of the world or places where it is already Monday. I was also at work yesterday. Oy. 

 

2. From this Slate article. "The unappreciated business genius of Starbucks is not charging $4 for a latte but rather giving adults permission to drink milkshakes, on the pretext that they are merely tea or coffee." This is the truest thing I've ever read about Starbucks. I don't care and am happy to drink my coffee flavored milkshake, but still.

 

3. I have Justin Timberlake tickets! This is more important to me than it should be to someone my age. I do not care. September 5th, I shall be brining sexyback! Or I shall see it being brought back in person!

 

4. Last week while on a walk, I got chased by a homeless guy. I had to hide in the 7-11 until he left. I forget sometimes I live next to Crackton. Note to self: buy pepper spray.

 

5. Is anyone else watching this Pussycat Dolls show? Because I am.

6. Today I must sneak out of work and help my friend buy the van he is going to live in this summer while he treeplants (that may only be a workd her in BC. plants trees doesn't have the same dirty hippy connotation. Hmm.) It's been very difficult not to make any "living in a VAN down by the RIVER" jokes.

 

7. I am currently rocking out hard to the new Fallout Boy cd. We are talking lip syncing, chair dancing, head bobbing. If someone else comes into the office I am going to look like a fool.

 

8. This post is not doing a lot to make it look like I have good taste in music. I do! I swear!
