Am kind of half back from easter. Am home but am avoiding the computer. Haven't really checked email and have only gone very quickly through my friends pages.
Am working up the courage to edit the Sam/Jack/Daniel. Bleah. It's fic that's guarnteed to have no audience cause no one's happy with the pairing, not the shippers and not the slashers. Am so very blah. Easter was lovely and the weather was beautiful and I am feeling very boring at the moment. Realised today that I go home in 10 days and loose all my autonomy and my precious computer time and am now very sad. Huh.

See, I can read OT3's on condition that there is a clear distinction between the relationship Sam and Jack have and the others. Dude, you made me think about my pairings and now I'm gonna go write a long and boring post about it ;o)

In my mind, after the story (which is very, very short; I am way too worried about something that's maybe 6 pages long) Jack picks Sam.
Ultimately the entire thing is about how fucked up Sam, Jack and Daniel would have to be to get ivolved sexually as a group. I hope that Daniel's awareness of not only of how weird the whole thing is as well as all the history/emotion/attraction that makes up the OTP (Uh, Sam and Jack) comes through. In six pages. Crap. I need to stop worrying about this so much.
However, I'm fully expecting many, many people on the flist to look at this and go "ewwwwww" and have no interest in reading it. I look at it half the time and think the same. Stupid goddamned muse. So it's okay if you don't read it.
(And since this is already long, I'll share this - I tried to write this story as a nice S/J-on-the-dock story but Daniel would not get out of my head and I had a paper to write. I had to *work* to make this sucker S/J/D and not J/D, which frankly is not a pairing I buy at all. Stupid, stupid muse.)
I am wordy today. And I feel like making an "I'm a shipper, damnit" icon. Huh.

I think I'm glad I don't have your muse though. Like me, she is very picky about her pairings. I read threesomes sometimes but then it's on a completely different level than I read fanfic, if that makes sense.
But I have seen your writing and I trust you to make the fic work. Most threesomes don't work for me because they're written from a Jack/Daniel or/and a Sam/Daniel pov and I don't get that. With a ship background, it will be easier. But now I'm repeating my way too long post ;o)
