Just spent five hours making five pies as well as stuffing for a turkey while watching the Star Wars trilogy (sadly, not the dvds, but my old skool vhs box set).

I was making pies because we're having Thanksgiving at our place tommorrow and I'm the only one who knows how to cook (or will admit to it.) The last two years I've been in charge of the rez-wide dinner which meant cooking for 200 plus, so ten is nice. Weird, but nice. I'm freaking out there won't be enough and people keep sitting me down and reminding me 10 people + 5 pies = a lot of pie, if nothing else. Yay.

Went to a fabic store today and found a cotton print that's basically an Indiana Jones comic strip. It's hilarious and ridiculous and I have been soundly mocked for buying it but I like it. I need to post a picture. It's ri-dork-ulous.

Okay. Bed so I can get up and stuff the turkey. Yay! Happy Canadian Thanksgiving to all!
