IEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
I'm sure when I watch this tommorrow I will be far more coherent and critical and everything I am not about to be.
- Kerry's twelve. And pretty. And twelve. I would have liked to have seen more of her, to see what it was Jack found intriguing other than the fact that such a young woman was attracted to him.
- I actually found Pete particularily charming, especially while meeting Jacob.
- JAAAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCCCCCOOOOOOOOOBBBBBBBBBBBBB. That was unnecessary. Un.Necess.a.ry. *sob*
- I really missed Janet during the infirmry/Jacob death scenes.
- Overall, this played like a lot of bad fanfic.
-On the note of bad fanfic, in Settling, Pete has much the same non-reaction as he does here. Yay me!
- For the majority of the Daniel scenes I was chanting "get to the kiss!" and though there was no kiss at the end, I still stand by that statement.
- And on that note, I had the guy in the suit pegged as Anubis far before the reveal. Faaaaaaaar before.
- There's this lovely moment when Sam's talking to Jacob and he's telling her not to let the rules get in the way of what she wants (FANFIC!OMG!) just before the cut to the next scene that I think I can see Sam realising that the Dad in her head isn't the Dad who actually exsists and that the events of Grace were just her.
- Jack's "Always" just before Jacob dies? The closest he'll ever get to saying "I love you" on air. Seriously. Watch it again.
- I'm unsatisfied because I wanted Anubis to kill everyone but them and the alpha site so they'd have a reason to go back in time for Mobieus. I'm pissed that Sam left Pete for Jack and Jack got dumped by Kerry because he's in love with another woman and yet the resolution is nil (I've got fic bunnies that goes on from here simmering.)
- I'm disappointed because I've never felt Jack's feelings were in question. Jacob's death ends up as some sort of big reveal about Jack's feelings for Sam (Sam and Jacob are reflected in the glass in front of Jack ashe looks sad and angsty) except we've known since season 4 (thanks, previously-s!) that he loves/cares a lot about her. It's Sam we're always left wondering about and we're/they're still left in limbo land thanks to the ending of this.
- Teal'c's of the Tauri and not Chulak now, hmmm?
- Poor Kerry, inviting Sam to stay. Silly girl (because she's like 12 years old, OMG!)
- And on that note, how exactly did Kerry know Jack wanted to be with Sam? Those thirty seconds? Not enough time to divine a partner's one true love from stuttering and avoidence of the fact that Jack and Kerry were dating. How omnisceint were we to believe she was?
- If I were a slasher, I'd totally be all over the way Jack nervously tugs his over shirt down after seeing Daniel nekkkid.
- Kerry and Jack clearly had really good sex. I don't know why I think this, I just do.
- Wow. Nekkid Daniel. Rrrrowww. Mmmm.
- Wasn't the ending of this supposed to be how Mobeius ended? What are those sneaky bastards keeping from us?
Wow. Give me time. I'll be coherent soon.
