I know I haven't really commented on Mobieus but,

Dude. I really, really, really want to write something about our Daniel and Geek!verse Sam and Jack and what happened after they apparently rebelled against Ra by capturing 10 of his Jaffa. There's so much that's so good there; Daniel's so angry and Jack's jealous and Sam is adorable and apparently sexually attractive to all and mmmm. The angst!

But then I get all wrapped up in the time travel logistics of it all and start to think that as soon as our!Sg-1 start to watch the tape the versions back in Egypt should stop existing (well, at least Daniel should, since he's in the present. Er, future. Whatev.) unless, as someone posited, the SG-1 from the start of Mobieus was actually an alternate SG-1.

Ooops. My brain just fried.


But there is no time. I am to be writing papers, not fic this weekend.

And hello to the people who friended me in the last couple days. Where'd all y'all come from?

Yeah, the time travel thing is NUTTY. But, per Before I Sleep, you can't think of their outlook on time travel as exactly like Back to the Future's outlook.... I think geekverseSam&Jack and our!Daniel lived out their lives in Ancient egypt OR!!!!!

Or. (and I like this or). Sam and Jack and Daniel got in the time machine, went back or forward in time and did something more fun than living in the dust and sand. (or at least this makes for better fic writing...?)
