1. Saw Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants this weekend and cried like a baby. The housemate is never, ever allowed to pick the movie again. It was good, but damnit, I was crying no more than a half hour in. Carmen's story just, ugh, in the gut. I even kind of hate Bradley Whitford right now. But I would love to go to Greece.

2. Saw Mr. & Mrs. Smith tonight. Sweet Jebus. I've never found Angelina Jolie to be anything except a little creepy, but in this? Wow. She's hot. And Brad Pitt? After they've nearly killed each other and then had sex and they're lying on the floor and he's licking his lips? *faints from the hot, omg.* And the minivan, with the dual sliding doors? Ha! Oh, and the part where she finds out he has a degree in art history and she says "Art?" and he says "History. It's respectable."? I want that on a t-shirt or maybe an icon. And who knew Adam Brody was in it? It's a good movie. Huh.

3. Have an interview very early Thursday with majorelectronicsandinternetretailer. Is the third stage of the process, and damnit, if they don't hire me I don't know what I'll do.

3a. Bought a pink shirt tonight in hopes that I might look approachable and fun and like I'll fit in, since previous interviewer said I had all the skills and qualifications, he just needed to make sure I'd fit in with the department.

4. It's been almost nine months since I seriously posted fic. I'm sorry.

5. Housemate asked when the next Harry Potter book was coming and, thanks to [livejournal.com profile] liminalliz and her timeline from a few days ago, I flipped through things in my mind ('BSG July 15, Stargate July 15, Harry Potter July 16! Aha!) and was regarded as a giant geek, but also as knowledgable of about all things pop culture which was kind of cool.

6. Had dinner at a sushi resturant and my meal came in a boat! Mmmm, Sushi.

Good luck with the interview!! It's so nervewracking to be that close...

Ugh. I just - I want to say "this job is to keep me fed and housed for the next year while I decide which law school I want to go to" but that's not going to get me the job.

Being intensely me for 45 minutes is tiring, let me tell you.

And thank you. It is nervewracking.

but that's not going to get me the job.

No, probably not. But you'd be surprised how many people don't know that!!!!

Being intensely me for 45 minutes is tiring, let me tell you.

Try it for a whole day- which both of my last two interviews were!!!
