OH MY GOD. Just channel KARA or some BADASS CHICK who would totally just swipe the phone out of Lee's hands and be all "Well, I'm going to call him whether you like it or not" and Lee's all "But but but" and Kara's smiling with evil and is coy and sweet and charming on the phone and Lee walks away dejected, NOT KNOW THAT SHE'S CALL HIS CELL PHONE AND LEAVING A VERY DETAILED MESSAGE ABOUT HOW SHE'S GOING TO PUNISH HIM FOR BEING SO DARLING.

...errr...

In actual real advice -- it's hard to pick up a phone and call someone. Bleh. I have to do it all the time with my job which is probably what makes it so easy for me to make social calls as I'm offering something NICE and not "OMG DID YOU GET MY PRESS RELEASE AND ARE YOU RUNNING THE STORY, YOU MEDIA WHORES"

WE TALKED FOR AN HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTES OMG. I THINK I LOVE HIM BUT NOT REALLY.

He seemed happy to hear from me, but couldn't make the dinner I was inviting him to. WHAT'S THE FUCKIN' DEAL WITH THESE MIXES MESSAGES!

And I should totally call *you* sometime, as you would be happy to have my call.
