I cannot believe the entire Duran Duran catalogue is not available for purchase for me over iTunes simply because I live Canada.

Also? I would desperately like an icon with *that* scene from Scar with the words "I only want sympathy in the form of you crawling into bed with me" from 'Dance Dance' by Fall Out Boy on it. Like when Lee's there alone or when he doesn't know where to put his hands. Yes. I miss my photoshop on my old computer emensley.

On that note, does anyone use GIMPshop? Can you explain how to resize images and make them icon size to me? *angsts*

I just came across a Howie Day cover of Africa, and it reminded me how awesome of a song it actually is. You're right.

And I feel you on the engaged thing. I've got friends who are 19/20 and getting married/engaged/having babies. I should NOT feel like an old maid at 21/almost 22, thankyouverymuch.

On the Kara/Lee mix someone posted this weekend? ME TOO. It's really scratchy and I was listening to it tonight and so I dl'd the old school version and it is awesome. Awesome.

I've been lucky to have avoided the whole married fried up to this point, because all of my married froneds are four years older than me or so, but these two are my age and ACK. Not that I'm panicked, but you know how it is.

To iconify in GIMP, you have two options. One is to make a selection that's square (you can see the dimensions in the bottom bar) and then click... what appears to be a postage stamp with a diagonal arrow going down into a slightly larger postage stamp, in the toolbar. Then click on the selection and either drag it to 100x100 or enter the 100x100 in the prompt menu.

The second is to crop the image to a square and then go to Image > Scale Image and fiddle with it thusly.

At least, those are the two ways I've been doing, but I've been learning via the infamous "GIMP by fumbling with things" method, which has been known to fail.
