I liked it.
I suppose the best part, for me, was that the writers finally allowed Dee to grow a pair, as it were. Thank god they didn't try to play it like Dee was unaware of the whole thing. She's angry. Good girl.
I was impressed by how TPTB managed to turn Lee making Dee save Kara less pathetic that it appeared to be via the teaser commercials. How awesome would it have been had Sam called him on it? ("Hey, dude, don't, like, sacrifice your wife to save mine, eh?")
Lee's too honourable to cheat, eh Kara? I guess they've only been making out then. Huh. I would like fic about that and what sort of lines they drew.
Cally-as-telephone-operator made me giggle. I don't know why. It was all "honey, someone from the office on the line!"
All of the Kara and Dee scenes were excellent. How wonderfully awkward. I know there is a large segment of fandom who hates the whole love parallelogram, but I think it's representative of such a big part of the show. These are people, and life is messy, and sometimes that has to be put aside.
Would have been nice to see more of Kara coaching Dee through flying, however.
I sort of feel as if there is some analogy between Kara-and-boxing-gloves and Kara-with-her-hands-bandaged. Hmm.
I also now believe Lee is one of the final five. D'Anna is apologized because of the towel bit that ended up in doc she put together, see? She's sorry for the embarrassment it caused.
Oh! And Lee sort if hitting Anders' knee after they'd handed off Baltar's body and were all squat-y together. Awesome.
Most of the time I am mostly convinced that Jamie is there as eye candy for me and the fangirls, but man, that look he gave Kara while holding on to Dee? Broke my little heart!
ETA: I was interested in Helo and Sharon (The Fighting Agathons!) for pretty much the first time ever here. However, Helo enforced me belief once again that he was cute but dumb.)
I know most everyone hates the move to Sundays, but I kind of love it. Due to the fact I'm on the West coast and some deal that Space has worked out with Sci fi/The devil I get BSG at 7pm, which is excellent. It also means I don't have to avoid el-jay like the plague from Friday until Saturday at 6, which was when Space used to air things. Yay! It's like being a real part of fandom!
