I liked it.

I suppose the best part, for me, was that the writers finally allowed Dee to grow a pair, as it were. Thank god they didn't try to play it like Dee was unaware of the whole thing. She's angry. Good girl.

I was impressed by how TPTB managed to turn Lee making Dee save Kara less pathetic that it appeared to be via the teaser commercials. How awesome would it have been had Sam called him on it? ("Hey, dude, don't, like, sacrifice your wife to save mine, eh?")

Lee's too honourable to cheat, eh Kara? I guess they've only been making out then. Huh. I would like fic about that and what sort of lines they drew.

Cally-as-telephone-operator made me giggle. I don't know why. It was all "honey, someone from the office on the line!"

All of the Kara and Dee scenes were excellent. How wonderfully awkward. I know there is a large segment of fandom who hates the whole love parallelogram, but I think it's representative of such a big part of the show. These are people, and life is messy, and sometimes that has to be put aside.

Would have been nice to see more of Kara coaching Dee through flying, however.

I sort of feel as if there is some analogy between Kara-and-boxing-gloves and Kara-with-her-hands-bandaged. Hmm.

I also now believe Lee is one of the final five. D'Anna is apologized because of the towel bit that ended up in doc she put together, see? She's sorry for the embarrassment it caused.

Oh! And Lee sort if hitting Anders' knee after they'd handed off Baltar's body and were all squat-y together. Awesome.

Most of the time I am mostly convinced that Jamie is there as eye candy for me and the fangirls, but man, that look he gave Kara while holding on to Dee? Broke my little heart!

ETA: I was interested in Helo and Sharon (The Fighting Agathons!) for pretty much the first time ever here. However, Helo enforced me belief once again that he was cute but dumb.)

[livejournal.com profile] wisteria_ linked to someone who had pointed out the connection between the Eye of Jupiter and the painting on Kara's wall back when Eye of Jupiter first aired. I will admit I squeed like a small girl when Helo made the connection (also because apparently Tahmoh and Katee did the paintings on her apartment wall, but that's another issue. Anyways. . .)

I know most everyone hates the move to Sundays, but I kind of love it. Due to the fact I'm on the West coast and some deal that Space has worked out with Sci fi/The devil I get BSG at 7pm, which is excellent. It also means I don't have to avoid el-jay like the plague from Friday until Saturday at 6, which was when Space used to air things. Yay! It's like being a real part of fandom!

SO CUTE! I'm hoping that if/when the love quadrangle ends they can be buddies. And maybe they'll hang out with Helo too and also they will have their shirts off.

Guh. His facial expressions kill me.

That could be all kinds of hot. "Am I allowed to touch you here? What about...here?" Pushing the boundaries more and more each tiime....

BUT ANYWAY, I might actually like the Sunday move too. I didn't think I would, but I realized over the last couple days that I now have something to look forward to at the end of the weekend instead of Sunday just being a depressing countdown until I have to go back to work. :)

Oh, god. I'm feeling the urge to write that. (Unless I can nag Elly to write it instead.)

I am indeed already sort of writing this, but it takes me forever to finish things, so go nuts. :)

She's angry. Good girl.

I was actually cheering for Dee! Not that I hate Kara (I would never), but I liked how Dee made her feelings clear, but never let them interfere with the mission. She and Lee are alike in that way, in this instance.

Oh! And Lee sort of hitting Anders' knee
Loved it! I think the Lee-Sam conversation that they cut (from the video blog) would've explained that camaraderie a little more, but I can believe they developed some grudging respect for each other, out in the brush. But how much does Lee hate himself for not being the first to see Kara walking up?

I was interested in Helo and Sharon
I thought Grace was good (along with Tahmoh) in her pivotal scene, but then she went and disappointed me in the tub scene. Oh well.

convinced that Jamie is there as eye candy for me
Oh, Lee. He looked yummy tonight. And my favorite was when he said, "If Kara dies out there, I'll let you."*sniffle*

I friended you because you are awesome...and I suspect there is Stargate fic lurking in the depths of your journal. I saw an "Upgrades" bit that was fantastic with Daniel acting as voyeur. Feel free to not friend me as you wish.
