That was my favorite too because it was the most "inside" reference. Anyone can just throw the word "cylon" around, but true fans would know that we all call it BSG. :)
I liked this episode quite a bit, and the BSG stuff was a great bonus.
Very ironic timing. I decided earlier that I'd rather keep watching my Bourne Identity DVD, record House, and just download Veronica Mars later (which is especially sad because back in VM S1 I was as obsessed with it as I now am with BSG.) How fitting that this appears to be the ep with all the BSG shout-outs, huh? Eh. I'll still just download later.
FWIW, Veronica Mars is my perfect example of how, when I stop caring about a show, I just stop watching. Negativity and bitterness ain't my thang.
Man, I was totally the same way with Stargate. I'm not going to stick around when I'm no longer interested, no matter what.
It was a somewhat cute ep. All the BSG refs are in the first five to ten minutes. The (quite cute, actually) nerd boy meets the love of his life at a BSG panel at ComicCon. A-freakin'-dorable.
I'm a rather casual Veronica Mars viewer, but I like this episode a lot. I quite liked the detective story plot which I'm usually sort of meh on. It was good. Also, yes, they've turned Logan into a weenie.

Is it only me or did the show somehow got its mojo back? The lines are funny, the plot twists are surprising and it's really engaging again.
Except for poor Logan, who still has no decent lines...
