Looking at my calender there, it seems I almost always post on Tuesdays. Hmm. Let's keep up the trend, then.

I kind of feel like I have lots to say but I'm not feeling very talky today, so instead, a photo of part of my costume for tomorrow. Idea shameless stolen from [livejournal.com profile] zorb.

I'm going to be a cat burglar. A burglar who steals cats, see?

And behold my loot!

Adorable, yes? The whole costume is running me about $15, 9 of which was spent on the stuffed cat. It is really, really, REALLY hard to find a stuffed cat. Dogs, bears, rabbits, no problem, but cats are next to impossible. This one is cute though, and I can give it to the christmas toy drive when it is that time. (That's not bad, right? It won't really be used, just carried around for a day.) The other six bucks were spent on a $1 mask and the felt and glue sticks I used to make the loot bag, which is hot glue gunned together because I don't have a sewing machine. It still looks good, I think.

Hee! I love your loot bag! I just got a mesh laundry bag so that you can see the cats through it, although it is way too large for what's in it. Oh, well!

Cats are really hard to find! I saw plenty of dogs and jungle animals, but the cats were well-buried at Toys-R-Us.

I am really stupidly proud of my loot bag! Four pieces of felt, hot glue and a sharpie to write on the $ sign.

A mesh laundry bag is an *excellent* idea. I wish I had thought of that.

And yeah, what's up with cats being so hard to find?! I found the *only* cat at the store I was at, and it was not the first store I checked.

Anyways, thanks for the awesome idea. I think it will be a big hit! :D
