I've had company the past two weeks so my ability to be fannish has been limited. I had to hold off to watch this week's ep until tonight! The horror!

Kara. Break my heart! I wonder how Kara's desperate struggle to go back would have played had they had Kara be cold and unemotional, as was planned originally. Huh.

I will not lie, I find the cylon bits boring
- Cavill is One? Really?
- Where would the five be if not with the humans? Are there other places they could be? Frolicking on some unknown Cylon planet? I am confuzzled.
- Man. I can see why Adama and Lee were estranged for so long in these first scenes with Kara and Laura. Bill has a talent for pushing buttons, the worst buttons, for knowing the parts of the people he loves want hidden.
- More cylons. Could we please get to the kissing? Y/N?
Annnnnnnnnnnd apparently everyone is ok with Lee leaving. Huh. Remeber in D'Anna's doc how no one had resigned yet? I wonder if Lee is the first?

- WHERE IS LEE GRETTING ALL OF THESE CLOTHES? Why doesn't this shirt fit him as well as the green sweater of hotness?
- Could someone please point me in the direction of the "aftermath of Lee getting drunk" fic? Thx. It should include a drunken Helo or Narcho, kthxbai.
- Also, Lee, untuck that shirt, sir. It hangs funny and looks really short.
- I can't be the only one who was convinced (worried?) Lee would toast to Starbuck. After that slip he had calling Racetrack Startbuck I was convinced, but he made it up with his last toast. OH LEE.
- Also, as much as I adore that photo of Lee and Kara being up in the rec room, seriously. Where'd they get the film?

I actually pausd the Tivo and cringed. I had to pep talk myself through watching the rest of the scene. I don't know why - it just would have been so crushingly awkward, especially with Anders at the next table over.

I'm not the world's biggest slasher, but come on! I at least am looking to fandom to deal with this to my satisfaction. Yes.

I wasn't expecting more pilots, though a girl can wish, and then, BAM! Baltar's nekkid butt. Le sigh. Poor Tory.
But I hope there is more K/L kissing. Hope springs eternal for pilots.
I am convinced, convinced now more than ever that the show runners are in favor of this relationship, more so than on any other show I've ever watched. Kara and Lee have different destinies to fulfill, if you will, and that just means they need to be apart right now. I don't think this scene was goodbye so much as a bone for the viewer while they're apart, and confirmation that yes, they do still love each other very much.
Or I could just be overly optimistic.

That was THE BEST. He stops for a second like "Should I really turn around and kiss...OH HELLS YES." (Also did you see earlier in that scene when Lee starts balancing on the sides of this feet like a little boy, omfg, so cute.)
