So I'm a little behind on BSG. It started with being sick and segued into a reluctance to wach what I'd missed, not necesarily because I'd lost interest, but because I keep thinking "there's so little left."
Anywhoo, I'm trying to catch up tonight.
- Mission: Find Earth is always going to be amusing to me.
- Kara's looking for a sound? Cyyyylon.
- Thing I have been slow to accept: this really isn't the same Kara. She's just so off in that early scene with Helo. I think we get flashes of the old Kara, but she's really . . . different in some of the early bits here.
- Dude, Sharon's still a lieutenant?
- Does Helo get special order extra long tanks? (Also, yum. Tahmoh, lookin' good!)
- Thought I've been thinking: wouldn't the fleet need a sewage processing ship? Wouldn't that be important?
- I've sort of mentioned my feelings about Leoben before (in short, I'm not a fan.)
- Leoben is almost rabid - is he always like this? I haven't paid enough attention before.
- Ok, Tory can just go where she wants on Galactica? I mean, she can just walk into a launch tube? That seems . . . unlikely.
- What, other than tags does Anders have around his neck?
- I love Gaeta.
- Ok, Leoben's hand on Kara - I just - ugh.
- Helo - poor monkey.
- "I swear to the gods this is not a dream" Uh, who said it was? Is this a clue, writers? IS IT?
- ALSO, this reminds me, and maybe I'm just not looking in the right places, but is anyone talking about the comment Kara's painting, and what sort of time frame that could histroically put them in?
- Also, is no one else concerned that the cylons know where earth is? Isn't that why they're headed there, because there are no cylons? I am confused!
- If I am going to have to deal with Leoben, could I at least see Leoben and Lee meet? Maybe Lee and Sam and Kara could tag team his ass.
- Still love Gaeta.
- That's a lot of bare arms around that table.
- Crazy, calm Kara.
- How good in bed is Baltar? Seriously. Seriously.
- They have snacks at Baltar's revival meetings? That's sort of awesome.
- I mostly feel bad for the tertiary characters when they die because of the actors. I mean, Mathias went from no lines to semi-reoccuring, recognizable, all purpose marine.
- I'm stil watching, but I am also checking the gossip sites. I just don't care for the Gauis-as-prophet story line, I guess.
- Ah, so this is what Aaron meant at D*C when he said the cheir goes a little nuts. A lot like Sharon, back in season 1.
- I don't thnik I believe Leoben. I think he is really, really good at telling Kara what she wants to hear and he can read her like a book.
- No, seriously where is the fleet getting all of this film?
- Oh, Helo, muffin.
- I certainly felt the absence of the Adamas, and Roslin, and Tigh, and even old skool Kara. Hmm.
Man, Vancouver went from the low teens to mid thirties today. It is hot. My delicate Canadian constitution cannot take these sort of ridiculous temprature swings. We have a temperate climate on this coast, damn it!
