There is a line and this lady just danced all the way over it.

A suburban Detroit woman decided to scare up the vote among neighbourhood children by just offering treats to John McCain supporters

TV station WJBK says a sign outside Nagel's house warned: No handouts for Obama supporters, liars, tricksters or kids of supporters.

Nagel calls Democrat Barack Obama scary. When asked about children who were turned away empty-handed and crying, she said simply: Everybody has a choice.

Good grief. Grow the hell up, lady. This is the first time I've said this and I really mean it: between the scary mob mentalities at some of the McCain/Palin rallies and now this sort of thing, let's get this election over with and move on.

Well there's a way to win hearts and minds!

I know this is stupid to point out 'cause she's just plum crazy, but: how do the kids have a choice as to whom their parents support, exactly?

What an ass.

Wow. Just - wow. Even John McCain wasn't that low. Is she related to Rove??

Yikes, what a crazy and rude lady. I love how people called the press about it. :D

Bitch!

And nice line about "everybody has a choice" when kids of supporters are turned back. I suspect by "everybody" she means she has a choice.

On the plus side? More dental work and childhood obesity on the Republican side of her neighbourhood...

I suspect it's her reaction to the Sarah Palin costumes. Love that she ended up in the paper...
