- My reaction to Ellen Tigh's outing? "Really? Wait, is Ellen the fifth cylon? Really? Really? Really. Huh."

- Masterful headfake on the Dee front, RDM. I was pretty convinced she was the final cylon right up until the Ellen reveal.

- And let's have a moment to discuss the absolute adorableness of Helo, Sharon and Hera. For two people who left their daughter for two months, they sure are fun.

- I literally heard the Meow-boom from part of fandom when Lee and Dee kissed. I guess we're going to get the "I loved a cylon - can I forgive/accept them?" from the Kara and Sam side.

- ALSO! Kara went to tell Lee about finding her body INNAFIELD. (That girl needs to start avoiding fields AT ALL COSTS.) I think I am most excited about Kara's story line. What the fuck? I have a theory that that is not Kara from the past but Kara from the future. This theory is based on absolutely nothing. I just think it would be AWESOME.

- Damn. I'm still stuck on Dee killing herself. Good god.
(Also, Dee with Lee allowed for Lee to look adorable on several occasions. I am a-okay with anyone who makes Lee Adama smile that much.)

- And I understand the whole date thing. Comfort is a strong motivator for people. Dee is familar and there and sees the best in Lee, and I believe they did have some good times on Pegasus and that there was a lot of affection and even love between them. And (and I might be the only one who thinks so) Kara has been weird and distant and different since she came back. Call Lee fickle, but I'd disagree.

- Also, Kandyse McClure is beautiful. Just stunning, really. Also, how did Dee get her hair to do that curl-and-flip post-apocalyptically?

- Dee's locker - wow. I forget that Lee is a rariety among the crew, for the most part. Most of the crew would have memories of home (unless they lost them on New Caprica. But still.)

- ALSO. Hey, Adama, way to make you're son's wife's death ALL ABOUT YOU. Man. I have more and more sympathy for Lee and Zak all the time.
"Daddy, I skinned my knee!"
"Yeah, well, I loved that knee!"
Oy.

I can't wait to see what happens next.

Were you aware that in the novel "Sometimes a Great Notion" there is a character named Leland? I don't think he's the collorary for Lee, but it's interesting. There are some other similiarities (according to wikipedia. I haven't read it myself.)

Ahaha. Yeah. I had no sympathy for him tonight. Oh, Dee. That really punched me in the gut - I wasn't expecting it this early.

Papadama was WAY over the top. Or EJO was way over the top.

Your analogy is hilarious.

Kandyse indeed looked stunning. I'm of the mind that they gave Dee a nice sendoff (oddly enough).

I thought the performances were great accept for EJO. Apparently, the director left him to his own devices which never seems to be a good thing.

Let's! So, so cute. They were totally playing a game called Hera: Raptor Pilot.

You know, Dee's locker actually doesn't make sense to me. Shouldn't she have lost all of her mementos on Pegasus? But this detail isn't terribly significant.

Quick note about the distant Kara thing--on screen though, she seems to have approached him more than he's approached her in 4.0(as far as I can remember off the top of my head). She went to talk to him in that episode where Adama left and they had the walk-those-halls-together scene. And she gave him a significant look that one time on the hangar deck. (And isn't it a little sad how few and far between the Kara/Lee material has been, that I'm so hung up on this one time she looked at him?) Anyway. I do not like the distance and I want them to hug (onscreen!) and then they can do more than hug too.

Excellent observation. Last time she was innafield, she got le petit morte, so I guess this time she gets the big one, no?

Kara from the future? Hmm. If she's some type of spiritual/mystical entity, sure. Cycle of time, and all that. I do want this person to essentially be Kara herself, even if she's not physically or emotionally quite the same. And Future!Kara would help explain her serenity this season -- she has grown as an individual.

Also, Elly? This was the show's last visit to Apocabeach. Aww. :(

Hmmm........ ::stroking imaginary beard:: Interesting...

Oh, elly, you made me laugh so hard.

I concur with all your points! Kara needs to avoid fields at all costs, but I love that Leoben practically ran away from her. FINALLY.

I agree. :) I loved the shot of them, arms linked, walking down the hall together. They looked very comfortable together. I never saw that comfort during their marriage. And it was weird, this was the first time I really enjoyed seeing them together so, of course, she goes and kills herself.

Hey, Adama, way to make you're son's wife's death ALL ABOUT YOU.

Someone needs to make an icon of Adama with "ALL ABOUT ME" on it because you, I, and about a half of dozen other people have said the exact same thing. I'm just happy that Lee walked out of the morgue and left his Dad to deal with his own crap since he was going to get no support. Bill Adama is dead to me.

That whole INNAFIELD thing hadn't occurred to me. But now it does: sporfle!

Also, sporfle at the whole "I skinned my knee/I loved that knee" thing, because Wordy McWordpants. Adama just gets more and more of a dick as the series goes on. I can't believe I used to *like* him. On the bright side, apparently the most misogynistic of the dialogue in the Tigh/Adama scene was EJO improvising, rather than having been written that way. But Lordy, would someone please remove EJO's teeth from the scenery? He can be a terrific actor (even while playing a character who's a total dick), but he desperately needs strong direction to rein in his more melodramatic impulses.

- And let's have a moment to discuss the absolute adorableness of Helo, Sharon and Hera. For two people who left their daughter for two months, they sure are fun.

The only way I can make sense of their actions is to assume that Hera was aboard Demetrius the whole time and was just vewwy, vewwy quiet (because they were hunting wabbits). After all, we never SAW Hera on Galactica during the Demetrius arc, and not letting Caprica Six see her could've been because she just plain wasn't there (but they weren't going to tell a prisoner that). The idea of them leaving her for two months just makes no sense, particularly with the various people who want to kidnap/kill her, and in the absence of definitive proof that she WAS on Galactica during that arc, I'm assuming she wasn't.

One other weird thing re: the Agathon family squeefest was that Hera smiled for the first time in quite possibly ever. I believe she even laughed. In "Revelations" there she was, staring off into space with utter indifference as her parents celebrated, and now everybody knows Earth's an irradiated wasteland, she's having giggle fits. Go figure.

P.S. So, it seems that the immortal love story of BSG, the one that transcends time, and death itself, is the alcoholic co-dependence of Ellen and Saul. Snicker!
