Ok, who thought "we're going to write a charcter who whispers sweet nothings into a girl's ear and them has a a lot of sex with her, plus additonal kissing and looking fantastic in a button down and slacks who maybe turns into a really hot? just me? psychopath with the lip bitting and the accent and white teeth and pistol whips Tahmoh Paul AND we're going to cast Jamie Bamber in that role"?

Because they are my hero, my friends. THEY ARE MY HERO.

(I think this means I am somehow in debt to Joss Whedon.)

(Also, how much fun do I think Tahmoh and Jamie had kicking the crap out of each other? A LOT.)

Also, was Paul wearing a leather suit at the plane hanger?

In conclusion: I am sort of excited for this season of Dollhouse. A gal needs her sci-fi show, and there is nothing else currently on the horizon. Except Stargate Universe, which I just set a season pass for, even though I am unwilling to go down that road again.

He was hot and growly evil and flirty and hot. Mmm, yeah. The only problem? Not enough sex scenes. Though I told [livejournal.com profile] taragel that someone needs to make screencaps and photoshop Kara's head on Echo's body.

And was he actually dead at the end? I don't think so. Recurring role, please?

I'm probably going to watch SGU despite never having seen a Stargate before, just out of residual Trainspotting love for Robert Carlyle. When you're in my favorite movie, you earn my lifelong loyalty.

There was tongue, we've deduced. Just a little but yeah.

And I really appreciated how funny he got to be early on. And smiley.

But the schmoopy speechifying made me sad about K/L again. Luckily then he turned into a completely creeptastic evil wanker so it all worked out. (Still like the American accent better, but I'm in the minority there.)

I am...considering an SGU watch. Because I'm not really a sci-fi girl but I like the cast members and.... IDK.

Hot hot hot. (The pistol whip, nngggggh.) And the whole time I had that great feeling of OMG JAMIE ON MY TV. It was nice.

I'm planning to give SGU a try even though I've never watched any previous Stargate. I might as well since I've got nothing to watch on SyFy anymore. :( Plus I like some of the cast members.
