Because they are my hero, my friends. THEY ARE MY HERO.
(I think this means I am somehow in debt to Joss Whedon.)

I'm probably going to watch SGU despite never having seen a Stargate before, just out of residual Trainspotting love for Robert Carlyle. When you're in my favorite movie, you earn my lifelong loyalty.

But the schmoopy speechifying made me sad about K/L again. Luckily then he turned into a completely creeptastic evil wanker so it all worked out. (Still like the American accent better, but I'm in the minority there.)
I am...considering an SGU watch. Because I'm not really a sci-fi girl but I like the cast members and.... IDK.

I'm planning to give SGU a try even though I've never watched any previous Stargate. I might as well since I've got nothing to watch on SyFy anymore. :( Plus I like some of the cast members.
