Tonight's American Idol

Once? Really? Really? Really? I mean, Crystal and Lee were good, but way to steal choose one of the Idol-moment songs from last year. I hope Kris Allen is getting some sort of song choosing royalty or something - that was, what, the third song he did last year that someone did this season? Also, are the judges not allowed to mention his name?

Also, how come Crystal gets her own special microphone?

Addtionally, when did Kara become the judge whose opinion I most respect?



Finally, as I continue to watch my way through my Tivo backlog, Jon Stewart mentioned slash fanfic last night. *facepalms* I don't want him knowing what that is, thanks very much. Oy. Back away from the internets, famous people.

I LOL'd at his slash comment (and the way he drew a slash with his hand, ha!) I think he's joked about it before, and he's too smart of a celeb to not know about such fic. :)

I've seen people saying that the Lee/Crystal version of Falling was better than the original. Um, no? And it wasn't better than Kris Allen's either!

Oh Jon Stewart! These are the things that make me panic and worry some one has pointed him in the direction of the him/Stephen Colbert fic I know exists out there. Oy!

I will admit, I have become a ridiculous, die-hard Kris Allen fan these last few months, so while I liked the Crystal/Lee duet, I was literally yelling "No. Seriously. SERIOUSLY." when Ryan announced their song choice this week. I mean, it was good, but it was done last season. Come on, folks. Try again. And the original is > than any cover.
