Hey, is anyone in the flist going to Gatecon? Got any questions about Vancouver? I live there 8 months of the year and I'd be happy to answer any questions you or anyone you know have got.

Not that I'm bitter they moved Gatecon to the summer, when I'm not there. Nope.

Hmm. The Vancouver art gallery is lovely, as is the anthropology museum at UBC. Lonsdale Quay is in North Vancouver, and you can take the SeaBus (a ferry) across for @$1.75, if I remember correctly. It was a really nice market and great views of downtown Vancouver, plus you get to go out on the water.

I'd suggest spending a little time on Commercial Drive, which isn't far rfom downtown. It's not the greatest neighbourhood in town, but it's got some really cool shops and whatnot. Wazubee's has really great Sangria. And Case de Gelato has over 198 flavours of gelato AND offers free samples, so it's incredible.

You interested in Stargate locations? I've scoped out a couple of those, too, if you're interested. *loves my geeky self*
