Well. That's about what I'm expecting for the end of the series and for Threads. Yup. We know TPTB are semi-shippers, we know it's pretty much the end for RDA on the show and the ship isn't a loose end I really expect to be left dangling if we're getting an RDA-less season 9. Maybe if we don't get season 9, they'd be willing to let it go because they don't have to cope without him, but now they do, and having him involved with Sam alllows the writers to 'keep him' a little (and way to rationalize the ship, e. I'm such a romantic.)

And, a thought I had that is no doubt alllllll wrong: there's an ep of Atlantis coming up in which they find a frozen Elizabeth, no? And she traveled back in time to do something for the Anicient types, right? What if that there's got somethign to do with Mobieus? Anybody? Anybody? Bueller?

Though I'd like to say that if Sam and Jack end up as SamnJacksicles at the end of the season, I will not be happy. Nope.

Am I missing the spoilers for the second half of the season or are they just not around?

Once again, the spoilers are vague, but I like the *major* kiss between S/J. Duh! Of course I would, and admittedly some S/J shippers would have a field day if Sam dumps Pete because she's 'in love with someone else'. If so, she better admit it to Jack 'cause that's the only way it'll get out of her system. Of course, it'll probably open up a whole host of Jack and Sam The Romance (at theatres near you!) fics, but do I mind...well, only if they're badly written, but I digress...

Count me among those shippers planning the field day events, although I won't dance in the streets naked until I see it. I should probably warn the neighbors of that possibility...

As for the fics, I can't imagine it isn't anything we haven't seen before really. It's not like we haven't written this scenario over and over and over for the last 4 years or anything ;-)

About the connection to Atlantis, that sounds right on. It would be nice if the season tied up with Atlantis somehow since the beginning of the season was. But I like things all nice and neat like that :-)

Not many spoilers on the 2nd half at all :-(

It's the best reason I can come up with for having them end up together if there's no RDA but still a season 9. Makes sense to me. *nods*
