I hate that university makes me not really interested in these things because by the end of the paper I am bored to death by the stuff.

Yeah, I felt that way at the end of my "Problems With Native Americans in North America" class. I just wanted to burn the whole hemisphere down so I could escape.

That's so where I'm at with my other class, themes in North American Environmental History. Just, just burn it all down so we don't have to deal with it. The world is doomed, doomed!

Happily, I know that apartheid ends in, oh, 70 years from what I'm writing about, so there is some hope. Sort of.
