My sister, who has resisted any attempts to indoctrinate her with my love of sci fi, saw my Battlestar Galactica dvds and asked to watch them.

Correction, she saw Lee on the cover and said "Hey! That's that guy in the tiny towel and no shirt, right? Can we watch those?" How she knows that, I don't want to think about.

We got through the mini, with her saying "take off your shirt!" every time Lee appeared on screen.

I've convinced her to watch at least Colonial Day because again, Lee with no shirt. Clearly there is a lesson for Scifi to learn here as far as demographics go, no?

Also? She fell a little in love with Tyrol. I'm sort of sad to show her the rest of the season. Ah, the things that bring us together as a family.

Haven't killed parents/sibiling yet which is always a victory.

Congratulations on corrupting your sister with shirtless!Lee.

I have yet to get anyone in my family into BSG or sci-fi in general, so I'm in awe of you :)

She's always mocked me hardcore for my SG-1 love, so this is a HUGE achievement. The lure of shirtless!Lee is hard for a girl to resist, I guess. :D

Yay for you! Family and BSG!

BSG is a bonding thing with my dad and I. We have something to debate about besides news and such. I have been trying to get my mom and sister to watch it, but they have thwarted my efforts thus far.
