1. Room mate and I saw Take the Lead tonight. I don't want to be hasty here, but let me just say best. movie. ever.
I love dance movies and this one was very good. And I don't really like Antonio Banderas. Also! Yaya from ANTM was in it and didn't suck! Always a benefit! It was no Strictly Ballroom or Cutting Edge (which, yes, skating movie. *handwave*) but it was good. Fun. Also? The threesome/tango thing there at the end? Uhm, this movie was PG? Cause I found that hot. Ahem.
2. I have pledged that I will see this movie opening night, possibly twice if I can swing it. A gymnastics movie from the writer of 'Bring it on'? I was so excited during the preview I got shushed.
3. Made a new layout tonight from some pictures I took today. Shiny.
4. After having proved that a girl can exist on yogurt, pudding and grilled cheese sandwiches for several days, I had some chicken today. Not a good idea.
5. The flist tells me it's poetry month. Another reason to love April.
It's Dark in Here by Shel Silverstein
I am writing these poems
From inside a lion,
And it's rather dark in here.
So please excuse the handwriting
Which may not be too clear.
But this afternoon by the lion's cage
I'm afraid I got too near.
And I'm writing these lines
From inside a lion,
And it's rather dark in here.
6. Movies seen whilst sick:
a. Wedding Crashers (Saw it in theatres, still want to be Rachel McAdams, or at least look like her.)
b. Serenity (I didn't watch Firefly. It was good. More Mal and Inara!)
c. School of Rock (Not as funny as I had hoped)
d. S3 of Scrubs (LOVE!)
e. The 40 Year Old Virgin (Genuinely sweet. Not as gross as I was expecting.)
f. Brokeback Mountain (I did not have the emotional or physical fortitude to watch this again while I was sick. I was a mess.)
g. S1 of Clone High (LOVE LOVE LOVE)
I need to be sick more often. I haven't seen that many movies in years.
7. As per 6b, if one were looking for good Mal/Inara fic, where might one look?

2. When we saw that preview, Roomie and I looked at each other and said, "So there!"
3. Pretty flowers. Of course I know nothing about plants and flowers, but they're pretty.
