I think I may have been the last person in the world to have seen LOtR:ROtK. One of the people sitting behind me in the theatre was reciting the lines along with the characters at times.

Lemme just say for now: Peter Jackson, stop trying to fool us with the heterosexualty!yay! ending. Seriously. Stop it. Either that was the greatest film ever made devoted to the glories of male friendship or was *the* slashy-ist thing ever.

It's not even subtext. It's, like. . . super text! You have to be *not* paying attention to miss it. Hell, even my dad (a straight arrow, I tell ya) was all "Those hobbits, hmm, I don't know . . .

Haven't seen? Worth it for the pretty boys at the very least (not a Tolkien fan, myself)
