Now... I'm really really sad now, for some reason. Your Sam has it tough.
I don't know that she's quite the same as my Sam... but in most key ways I think she might be. And I think that your Sam lives in a later season than mine does, which might explain the discrepancies. Plus, I only feel like I *get* Sam on alternate Tuesdays and full moons, so I envy you!

I like early seasons Sam, but you *are* right, she's a completely different woman from the Sam of this little character study. I wish I understood early!Sam better; she's a facinating woman because she's still Sam, but she's just that bit more innocent.

And, oh! Your Sam is just like my Sam! I got this impression from watching the DVDs, all on my very own, without stepping foot into fandom. And then I found that many people thought that her character made no sense. I disagree. She makes so much sense to me that I am occasionally frightened. Well, sense in the way that I recognize qualities and such, not actual logical sense. People never do.
So, nice work. :)
